About
This website is dedicated to the remembrance and history of Australia’s Wonderland also known as 'Wonderland Sydney'.
Our aim is to document every aspect of Wonderland's history and to ensure historical evidence of Wonderland is appropriately conserved and recorded in an appropriate manner for interpretation by future generations.
The website has grown over the years due to people contributing so if you have any infomation, pictures, video or anything else regarding Wonderland email it to me so I can put it on the site for everyone else to see. - wonderland@wonderlandhistory.net
Ex wonderland staff are welcome to request a VIP members login which allows them to edit/add content on the site..
VIP members will also recieve a nice @wonderlandhistory.net email upon request.
The history of Wonderland History.
This web site was created in 2004 just after the park closed, the url was wonderland.octiva.net and the website documented the removal of the rides and demolition of the park.
In 2005 i acquired a small website "wonderlandhistory.com", which i merged with the exsisting content and adopted the name "Wonderland History". I lost the wonderlandhistory.com domain early 2006 (funny story). Not too long after i acquired the use of the wonderland.com.au domain, the original wonderland domain name, wonderland history was running from wonderland.com.au for 8 months before westfields baught the domain from the owner Hartford Lane Pty Ltd.
30 Aug 2007 wonderland.com.au was sold to westfield by Hartford Lane via their solicitors Minter Ellison.
Hartford Lane is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eastern Glory Enterprises Ltd. Hartford being the Trustee of Sunway Australia Unit Trust was the registered owner of the Property and all assests including the domain name.
needing a stable domain name i purchased wonderlandhistory.net in 2007 and the site has been running on that domain ever since. The site costs me around $100 a month to run, (well over $8,000 since the park closed), for this reason, donations are welcome!
A very BIG Thankyou to everyone who has helped with the site over the years. (in no order)
Wazza, Wonderbuzz, Djsupersleuth, Mnemo, AlexB, Bussy, Degrabber, Mickazee, Steve, Worker, Daniel,

And any others that have uploaded pictures, info, or helped out in any other way, thankyou very very much!
Keep up the good work :)
Kind Regards
