WE WANT WONDERLAND BACK!!!!!
As a complete sissy this is on of the very few rides i ever went on (the shame) now at the age of 24 this is one of my fondest memories. i remember one visit it was raining and me and my friend were allowed to ride it for 10/15minutes at a time. i recently went to the royal easter show and rode a similar ride. but it didn't come close to the one at wonderland. it saddens me that i can no longer access 'dragons flight' but I'm glad it wasn't destroyed and didn't suffer the same fate as some of the other rides. it's sad that generations to come will never get the chance to have the memories that i hold so dear :(

This ride was taken down months before before Wonderland closed in 2004. They put up a sign saying it was being repaired. Just a lie!

UPDATE: I just read that it was taken down because a major structural flaw was discovered in the mast of the ride. To Wonderland it was the final straw, they were faced with spending massive amounts of money repairing and updating the park or making massive amounts of money selling it. Dragons Flight was repaired, refurbished and sent to Malaysia.

In 2004 Dragon's Flight Was Taken Down, a little bit before Wonderland Sydney announced its closure, and was eventually shipped to a Sunway Park in Malaysia called 'LOST WORLD OF TAMBUN'
Pictured above and below: Dragon's Flight at its new home in Malaysia. It's still named Dragon's Flight too :)
