The Beastie has a direct clone also called The Beastie it is at "kings island ohio" Pictured above.

the beastie was my first ride ever and my first rollercoaster and they shut it down i remeber (remember) i was obssesed with trains and my mum said it was a train not a ride but when we where going up the hill i said to my mum trains dont go up straight hills and soon found out it wasnt a train when we went down hill and i also learnt about losing my stomach i was age 6 then now aged 13 2009
People learn to spell please

[COMMENT]
The first time i had been on a wooden rollercoaster it was so much fun. Why take the fun away!

this was my first rollercoaster i ever went on, and it was my favourite. i miss it :(

[COMMENT]
They are not going to reopen wonderland so you have to go to dreamworld.

[COMMENT]
A overview of Hanna Barbara Land, to the left you can see most of the Beastie Roller-Coaster.

[COMMENT]
2004- SO SAD! In 2002 the Beastie was SBNO (standing but not operational).
if your a ride Enthusiast you would already know what SBNO would stand for.

2005 after closure (about 2 months before demolition)

[COMMENT]
its such a shame that the whole wonderland theme park got demolished, it almost makes me wanna cry...
it was our pride and it was an extremely succesfull tourist attraction...
THANX ALOT SUNWAY U HAVE DESTROYED A PART OF EVERY PERSON THAT WENT THERE...

It actually wasnt succesful which led to its closure.

[COMMENT]
Wow, kinda freaky story. I had a dream once about Wonderland, but we were trapped in there because the bulldozers came and the M7 ran straight through the park. Bizarre. Any other Wonderland dreams?.

[COMMENT]
i had a wonderland dream in june 06 sumtime...and they were about to demolish the park but instead they reopened it but it looked really different..and they had a skirmish game where the bush beast was.

[COMMENT]
this used 2 exxcite me so much the sign jst looking at it

[COMMENT]
Look at those rusty tracks. You can tell it had not run for ages. I wonder if they gave it one last hurrah if everything would work OK? --degrabber
I don't think it's gonna work anymore.

[COMMENT]
Did The Beastie close when HBL closed in 2001? why did the skyrider close along with hbl? every1 had a hunch that the park was goin downhill..
well duh of course it closed in 2001 with hbl how else would you get to it the sky rider closed because it started in hbl

July 2005 After Closure. In 1985 this was called Quickdraws Cafe (Quickdraw McGraw) - I used to buy staff discount lunch here sometimes :-)

[COMMENT]
July 2005 After Closure. I remeber me lining up at gate No.1 with my dad and always laughing when I went down the first little hill. Losing it is the saddest memories I have had.

OHHHHH SO MANY TEENAGE MEMORIES :(

I remember going up this hill, I stood up in excitement! and then they stopped the ride until i would sit down again!! hehe. WELL THAT'S VERY STUPID OF YOU!

[COMMENT]
I was so ecxited (EXCITED) for the first time going on the bestie!!!!!!!!!!!

[COMMENT]
y should they close the park i was only 5 wen i went on this ride and i wana do it again

[COMMENT]
My sister and cousin and friends all went up this exciting hill 27 times because there were no queues on a day it was raining. Our family would always say -- > Quick kids come on -- it's starting to rain -- Call your friends we're going to Wonderland. Now when it rains on those boring lonely Saturdays I just sit at home wondering what has become of our glorious Wonderland. I stopped wondering when mum and I went to Blacktown via the new M7 and saw .....nothing but rubble and dirt hiding behind a couple of factories. .:Stef:.

[COMMENT]
THE BEASTIE WAS A COOL RIDE AND I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!!!!I WENT ON IT WHEN I WAS ABOUT 8 OR 9!
bUT MY FAVORITE WOULD HAVE TO BE THE DODGE'EMS!IT WAS THE BEST RIDE IN THE PARK AND I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT THE DICKHEAD WHO SOLD IT HAS NO BRAIN!!!!!!!!THANKS FOR TAKING OUR PARK AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YOU BASTARDS!!!!!!!!

[COMMENT]
Invasion of fuzzy people???

[COMMENT]
Damn those greedy people. We should have all protested against the demolition of Wonderland by tieing ourselves to the rides.

I WOULD HAVE BEEN UP 4 THAT!!!!
HELL YEAH!

[COMMENT]
its written on a sign and ppl still cant spell it god help you.

[COMMENT]
My first wooden rollercoaster... I remember going on it with mum and laughing my head off. It was great. Damn how much i want it all back, I would do ANYTHING to get it back, it was unfair, I know HATE ING for doing this to our beloved theme park!

[COMMENT]
Don't just blame ING. Wonderland closed because the greedy overseas owners wanted to sell off the land. But first that had to re-zone it by killing off the Park so they could argue that the land was better suited to factories than fun. What a shame!!

[COMMENT]
Hey I can see the Space Probe from here wasn't it fun.

[COMMENT]
Lots of supports

[COMMENT]
this diesel enigne is a one off make for theme park rides for the beastie. and it has about 350hp

[COMMENT]

[COMMENT]
Rusty and busted -- just like my dreams to keep Wonderland

surprisingly it wasent in to bad a condition no rust covered in oil and dirt, dust thats all by the looks of it the seals are stuffed so then again it probably busted

[COMMENT]
So that's how the chain works.

[COMMENT]
Edit me!

[COMMENT]
I'm not commenting on this pic but my God what happened to peace and justice in the world? I think that all the government politicians should be ashamed of themselves now for letting the owners knock down a brilliant theme park which millions of people came here for from around the world to see. We had a amusement park were people for all around the year. Everyone who came enjoyed it and they didn't take it for granted. I'm sure of it but for some silly highway to be built which is nothing but a scam has wrecked millions of people fun what has happened now. I am utterly ashamed and embarrassed for some to come and do something like that now if you look its plain dirt ready for some stupid building to go over it what is it. I think LG well I am embarrassed for you too that park was somers work play and I am sure more than that so there for why would u do something like that for a stupid M7. I am really ashamed really I am confused I guess no brains would do it.

[COMMENT]
actually it wasnt the m7 i agree its a sham for 5 bux lol but it was the asian ppl who bought it off hannabarberra in 1997 and the land value was worth more than the brilliant rides on it so they sold off the good moveable rides and threw the rest out in the back paddocks of wonderland sydneys land. then sold off portions of land to LG and also arnotts biscuits etc now all you can see when you pass on the m7 is buildings/factories and a fenced off dirt area poorly coverd by translucent mesh reading ING. jerks :( form stef) hannabarberra never owned the park Paramount pictures did hannabarberra was just a sponsor of part of the park.

[COMMENT]
